This multi-colour linocut is inspired by the dense, layered street life of Kathmandu — rickshaws, tangled wires, shopfronts, people, signage and the small details that make a place feel instantly familiar.
Rather than trying to reproduce the city exactly, I wanted to capture the feeling of being inside it: crowded, textured, constantly moving, and full of visual fragments competing for attention.
The work is printed by hand in a limited edition, with each impression carrying small variations in ink and pressure that are part of the linocut process.
